Our Mission

We are dedicated to the collection, documentation, restoration, interpretation, and protection of the history of Berkeley County, West Virginia and to making it available for education, research and community purposes. The Society operates as an all-volunteer non-profit and receives no public funds.

Our Goals

Develop the Belle Boyd House as an education center

Create a depository for historical papers and materials

Restore and protect the artifacts, documents, and manuscripts

Write, research, publish and continue to develop architectural and genealogical materials for public access
